From day to day I feel this
A dull ache in my heart as though something’s missing
Then it dawns on me
It’s always been missing and is still waiting to be found
I find myself questioning, have I found it and simply lost it?
But no, it would be too simple if that were true
The truth is I felt it, but it never felt me
And so I lie, kept awake by tears for what has never been
A dull ache in my heart as though something’s missing
Then it dawns on me
It’s always been missing and is still waiting to be found
I find myself questioning, have I found it and simply lost it?
But no, it would be too simple if that were true
The truth is I felt it, but it never felt me
And so I lie, kept awake by tears for what has never been

Poetry Gardens
I have often searched for the perfect locations in which to plant my poems… …from old illustrious gardens praised by scholars to more recent spots tended by gentle souls …only to hear so many times that my pieces are best nurtured elsewhere Except for on my own humble plots formed carefully over a long period open for passersby to visit and enjoy whenever they please As such perhaps the best soil for most of these poetic sprouts is found in those places nurtured by my own hands …and that is fine

The fairy garden
Sneaking into someone’s garden is never a good idea, especially not one that’s being guarded by a trio of protective fairies. To bad for Kim she had to find that out the hard way. As the unsuspecting girl admired the field of golden flowers so much, that she couldn’t help but to sneak in and pick one to take home. “Hey stop that!!” A sweet yet high pitch voice shouted. Though before Kim could see who it belonged to, it was already to late. Kim her body locked into place, her feet sinking into the ground and her skin hardened into bark. While her dyed blonde hair turn into ivy, leaving her a wooden statue of herself which looked as if claimed by nature. “That serves her for coming into our home” a tiny woman with shimmering transparent wings said as she fluttered around the freshly transformed girl. “Yeah, but won’t this be kind of counter effective? I mean we want to stay out, yet with a center piece like this it might just attract more people” “Yeah you might be right, maybe we could turn her into a tree, I mean she already half way there” Fairabell said “Or maybe we could turn her into compost and use her to fertilize our garden or we could just simply change her into water so we can her water to water the plants” “Ugh Fairamay, why do you always have to be so cruel” “Stop whining Fairabell, stop being such a softy, she literally trespassed into our garden and tried to steal from us” “Stop it both of you, I know a good punishment for our trespassing thief over here” and she tossed a bit of fairy dust upon the wooden girl. Kim regained her ability to move again as her rough bark skin turned soft and smooth again and her green leaf turned her hair returned to it’s former dyed blonde color. Little did she know that this was just the beginning of her next change as during her transformation back, a bushy black and white ringed tail emerged and gray fur covered up her skin. Meanwhile her face pushed outwards into a snout while whiskers spread from her cheeks and her nose became a leathery black ball. The spot where Kim formerly stood, has now been taken by a chittering raccoon which freaking out as it examined her new animalistic body. “The perfect representation of a thief” Fairarose said proud as she showed it to her sisters. “Very nice, yet I’m afraid she might be able to learn how to use her tiny paws correctly and figure out how to hold a pen. She might be able to expose by writing things down” Fairamay said concerning. “Oh I know something!” Fairabell said existed as she made a playful bounce mid are as she dropped some fairy dust upon the raccoon turned girl. Kim who was still freaking out in her former form noticed how her body began to change as her tiny paws formed into hooves and long slender legs lifted up her body which enlarged in the process. Meanwhile her bushy tail shrunk down while a pair of horns grew on top of her head and her face stretched out even further into a muzzle. Instead of the tiny raccoon there now stood a goat bleating in confusion as Kim looked down upon her yet again new body. “See, goats don’t have tiny useful paws to hold writing utensils with” Fairabell said proud as hovered above the freshly transformed girl. “Yeah… but you know what goats eat right?” Fairarose asked her fellow fairy. “You know, if we would want to get rid of our flowers she shouldn’t even have bothered transforming her in the first place” Fairamay said jokingly. “Oh yeah plants… oops I didn’t think about that” Fairabell said as she laughed it off awkwardly. “Don’t worry, I have just the perfect form for her” Said Fairamay as she reached into her fairy dust pouch and grabbed a handful which she tossed at Kim. Kim let out one last bleat before shrinking back down again as her fur got replaced by a moist in wrat covered skin, while her head became broader and her eyes bulged out. At the end of the transformation Kim let out a deep bouldering croak as she now was a large bulky toad. “Much better and now she can help us out with pest control, I hope you like bugs” She says teasing to Kim who could only respond with another croak. “Ugh you should have been a witch” Fairabell said as she looked down upon her sister’s creation. “But hey, if you want to make her useful why not make her beneficial in another way” and with another pinch of fairy dust thrown by Fairarose, Kim began to transform yet again. Her moist warty skin got covered up with black and yellow striped fuzz, while feelers grew on her head and an extra pair of limbs emerged from her side. Lastly a pair of transparant wings appeared on her back. Making Kim go from a large yucky toad into a chubby little bumble bee. Instinctively the tiny Kim fluttered her wings lifting her fuzzy little body from the ground. Still in a panic she buzzed swaying from left to right as she struggles to keep in balance, realizing that flying is far different than knowing how to fly. “Aaahw she looks so cute, all clumsy and such, it’s just adorable! Though I think we could use for color in our garden” so Fairabell grabs another hand and enthusiastically drops it down upon the bumblebee. Kim who is slightly getting the hang of her wings suddenly feels a slight change in them. As her former transparant wings become a colorful and enlarge, dwarfing her body which lost it’s black and yellow fuzz. As rather than a bumblebee buzzing around now a gorgeous butterfly flutters among the flowers. “See, isn’t she beautiful?” Fairabell asked her sisters as she playfully swirls around Kim the butterfly. Accidentally causing a slight gust of wind which brings her out of balance “Oopsie, my bad” Fairabell giggled. “Yeah, a bit to beautiful is you ask me, she will attract all photographers and entomologists in the area just to get a glimpse of her. We don’t have enough fairy dust for that, but don’t worry I have another idea” Fairamay said as she sprinkled another amount of fairy dust over the butterfly Kim who still had a hard time stay up in the air, found herself suddenly in a free fall as her enormous wings vanished from her back and her limbs retracted into her side. While her body stretched out and slimmed down in the process. Until she fell on ground. “You see? Now she is beneficial for our garden and no one will batch an eye for her” Fairamay said proudly as she and her sisters looked down at the squirming pink earthworm that Kim now has become. Yeah I guess you’re right, I’m running out of fairy dust anyway and I don’t feel like waisting it all on her” Fairarose said as she looked down into her pouch. Meanwhile, Kim who over heard them could flailing her limbless tubular shaped body around in the mud in protest as she freaked out she didn’t want to be a squirmy little worm and be beneficial for their garden. “Let’s just hope she doesn’t fall prey to a hungry bird or dig straight into a mole” Fairamay joked as she circled around the worm turned girl. “But for real, those birds are forming a real problem around her, they feed on our seeds and hunt down all the pollinators” Fairabell said concerned as she looked worried at Kim. Not really worried for her though, she was just a worm after al. But rather for the future fate of the garden. “Don’t worry, I know just what to do with her to make her beneficial for the garden in another way” Fairarose said as she reached deep into her pouch to get a bit more of fairy dust and gently sprinkled it on top of Kim. The worm began to grow her body shifting and turning as she grew taller again and even her human shaped returned. Even the clothing she wore before the changes returned back into her body like nothing had happened to her before. Yet when the transformation came to an end something her hope of becoming human again shifted into disappointment as despite her human forms, she wasn’t human in the slightest as in stead she became a scarecrow of her former self, stuck in a T-pose with her cloth like body stuffed with hay. “See, this will keep the birds away for sure” Fairarose said as landed on top of the girl her head which was covered in strains of hay to represent the girl her former hair. “Well, how much I like the idea I think rather than just simply use her to scare birds away, why not make her something which will scare everyone away?” Fairamay suggested. “Like what?” Both fairies asked curious. “Okay come here” Fairamay said as the other two fairies gathered around her and Fairamay began to explain her plan. Meanwhile, Kim just stood there forced to stare at the fairies in front of her discussing what to do with her, yet she couldn’t hear a thing except for an occasional giggle. “Okay let’s do it” One if the fairies said as they fluttered over to the scare crow Andean of them dropped their remain fairy dust upon the girl shaped scarecrow. Yet as she began to transform something felt of for Kim, as her body was forced on all four and her stick like arms and legs turned into paws and her face was pushing out into a stubby yet broad snout it just felt right as if she always had one. Also a feeling of comfort rushed through her body as short sand colored coat of fur spread across her body. Even the fairies in front of her seemed different, she no longer felt any form of anger or fear towards them. They have been nothing to good to her right? They took care of her and raised her well into the large strong dog she now is. And in return she would protect them and their home from trespassers and thieves. They were her owners after all. With that though her transformation came to an end as Kim was now a large boerboel loyal to her owners. As she happily wagged her tail at the sight of the fairies in front of her. “Oooh you turned out so great” Fairabell said excited as she hovered over towards Kim and gently patted her on her snout, in return the overly excited Kim returned the favor as she licked the tiny fairy with her large tongue. “Stop it, stop it girl” Fairabell said with a giggle as she tried to push the tongue away from her. “Well, it seems like it worked I bet no one dares to enter now with our big intimidating guard dog” Fairamay said as she flew over to the dog turned girl and landed on her head to rub her behind her ear. Fairarose looked satisfied at their work, finally having away to keep those curious humans out of their house.

Recently things have been very heavy for me. My girlfriend dumped me, I'm having to live with her, I've felt like everything is being put upon me. This is gonna be the first in...however many poems I decide to write. They'll all connect in a way, but they'll in themselves generally be very short.
